Dry Ice combined with detergent, or alone, will improve porosity in irrigation wells. Dry Ice is used regularly by the ranchers to improve water flow. One client used about 60 pounds of dry ice in his windmill well, capped it off, and waited several days before the water came back with a greater flow. Some cities use 800 pounds of dry ice for their city wells. Most well men will use dry ice before drilling deeper.
